Children’s House International is a non-profit international adoption agency founded in 1975 in the State of Utah. CHI was started during the Vietnam baby lift to make a difference in the lives of children who needed it most.

In 1994, Debbie S. Price, an adoptee and adoptive mother of her daughter from Romania stepped up to become the Executive Director of Children’s House International.

Over the past two decades, Mrs. Price has expanded the agency’s programs to include: Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Colombia, China, Cambodia, Guatemala, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, Honduras, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Morocco, Marshall Islands, Nepal, Peru, Poland, Rep. of Georgia, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine, and Vietnam. Currently, Children’s House International is licensed for local services and adoption in 6 states and over 13 countries.

Children’s House International is licensed in the States of Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Texas, Utah, and Washington and has placed well over 2,000 children worldwide.

The agency became fully Hague accredited in 2009 and continues to serve children and their families worldwide.

Children’s House International is committed to supplying humanitarian aid wherever possible. This is in keeping with the mission statement established by the Board of Directors.

CHI’s staff comprises professionals and individuals who have adopted themselves and are passionate about helping children find their permanent, loving homes.
